The following is a list of various benefits provided to drivers by GTI. For more information about GTI benefits, contact a recruiter.




Medical

  • Medical Coverage is provided to regular full time drivers and administered through Trusteed Plans Service Corporation. Details about coverage, deductibles and limitation of coverage are described in the Plan Booklet which drivers receive when they become eligible for coverage.

Dental

  • Dental coverage includes:
  • Diagnostic and preventative care covered at 100%
  • Basic procedures covered at 80%
  • Major procedures covered at 50%

Vision

  • Vision benefits; one eye exam per year, plus contributions toward lenses and frames every two calendar years.

Prescriptions

  • Your health care plan pays a portion of each prescription. Three ways to take advantage:
  • Use your medical card at a participating pharmacy
  • Use mail order for ongoing prescriptions
  • Use of internet references

24 Hour Nurse Line
  • Get free health information and medical attention 24 hours a day
  • Support when you are not sure what type of medical care you should be seeking
  • Help from a medical professional answering questions regarding prescriptions, benefits & alternatives to surgical procedures, recent diagnosis, etc...

Employee Assistance Program
  • A confidential counseling and referral service
  • Up to three hours of consultation per year for employees and covered dependants.

Life Insurance
  • GTI provides life insurance and accidental death insurance
  • Benefit amounts are $26,000 your first year with GTI and an amount equal to one year your regular taxable earnings there after.
  • GTI also makes optional life insurance available to you through payroll deduction and group rates.

401K
  • GTI employees are eligible to participate within six months of hire date.
  • The GTI 401K plan allows employees to save for their retirement by contributing up to 60% to a maximum of $12,000.
  • GTI will match $1 for every $1 you contribute up to 3% of your gross taxable earnings.
  • You are 100% vested in your employee contribution balances.
  • Company match dollars are subject to a vesting schedule (more details available).

Short Term Disability
  • If you are totally disabled and cannot work because of an illness or injury that is not related to work, you may be eligible to receive cash benefits.
